About the studio
Area515 is a nonprofit, all-volunteer community of makers, tinkerers, artists and hobbyists in Des Moines, maintained through dues from individual, family and corporate members. The shared workshop has woodworking, metalworking, CNC, 3D printing and laser cutting tools. Anyone can tour the space at the Tuesday evening open house, 7 to 9 PM.
