About the studio
Bell Arts Factory is a Ventura nonprofit established in 2006 in a former mattress factory on Ventura Avenue, run by executive director Maribel Hernandez. It rents private artist studios and creative offices from 100 to 1,000 sq ft with 24/7 access, utilities and wifi, and ceramicists renting space can use the kilns for a per-firing fee. The building also hosts youth art classes, yoga, folklorico and Aztec dance, artist workshops and First Friday events.
