About the studio
Davis Arts Center is a community arts nonprofit founded in 1960, in its 10,000-square-foot building on F Street since 1987, offering classes and camps for youth, teens and adults plus free community programs. Its ceramics studios include a wheel room with 9 wheels, a handbuilding and glazing studio with a slab roller, and a kiln room with three electric kilns and a pug mill firing low and mid range. It also has a textiles studio with sewing machines and dance studios; access is through classes.
