About the studio
Emergent Arts is a nonprofit community art center in Hot Springs that fosters creativity among emerging artists of all ages and abilities in Garland County. Its studio membership gives 24/7 access, after mandatory monthly trainings, to a ceramics studio with throwing wheels, a slab roller, electric ceramic and glass kilns, a jewelry and metals studio with torch and enamel kiln, a black and white darkroom with two Beseler enlargers, a fiber and textile studio with sewing machines and a serger, and a tabletop woodshop. Adult and kids' classes include all-levels wheel throwing and drop-in afterschool art, and members can show work in the Circle Gallery.
