About the studio
Graphic Arts Workshop is a Dogpatch printmaking cooperative that has given Bay Area printmakers affordable access to presses for over 70 years, run on dues and members' volunteer work. Membership is open to artists with basic proficiency in their medium and gives 24/7 key access to the workshop. Applicants take an orientation tour, then complete 15 hours of supervised work before the membership committee decides; members also teach occasional public workshops in etching and photopolymer.
