About the studio
Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is a privately owned arts facility in a historic textile mill, redeveloped into 153 working studios for over 300 artists and makers, seven galleries, a theatre and performance venues. Artists apply for a studio; the public visits during open hours and takes classes that individual studios run, including walk-in pottery, blacksmithing, watercolor and sewing. A building-wide Open Studio Night happens each season.
