About the studio
The San Diego Potters' Guild is a juried cooperative of more than 40 San Diego County potters, founded in 1958, sharing Studio 29 in Balboa Park's Village Arts Center as a gallery and working studio. The studio has six electric wheels, a programmable Skutt electric kiln and a gas kiln, and members work there daily in view of the public. Membership is juried in person once a year in spring when there are openings; some members teach adult classes in the studio.
