About the studio
Santa Cruz Clay is a collaborative ceramics studio on the Westside of Santa Cruz, open since 2023 and run by Travis, offering classes for all levels, memberships, drop-in passes and private events. The Westside studio has 25 Shimpo wheels, an extruder, a pug mill, a large slab roller, three electric kilns and a gas kiln, and 35 cone 5 and cone 10 glazes. Beginners must take a class or test into membership by throwing a centered 6-inch cylinder.
