About the studio
Nonprofit arts center in Uptown Sedona, founded more than 68 years ago, with a gallery, a School of the Arts and the Dennis Ott Ceramics Studio, named for its late longtime teacher and now run by studio manager Ben Roti. Ceramics classes for ages 16 and up include one open studio session a week for enrolled students, with hand-building tools, a slab roller and all firings included; workshops, field expeditions, private instruction and youth camps round out the program. Artists can apply for studio rentals; donor membership gives class discounts rather than studio access.
