About the studio
Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio is an 11,500 sq ft community print studio in West Newton founded by printmaker Liz Shepherd with Rebekah Lord Gardiner and Maudsleigh Editions. Members get scheduled access to four etching presses (the largest a 30 x 60 inch Charles Brand), a silkscreen room with exposure units and washout booths, a book arts workroom with RISO, and a papermaking studio. Access is by monthly membership or a 5-day pass, alongside workshops in printmaking, silkscreen, RISO, papermaking and photogravure.
