About the studio
Still Life Ceramics runs ceramics studios in the LA Arts District and Santa Monica (plus studios in Ferndale, Michigan and Richmond, Virginia), offering one-time and multi-week wheel, handbuilding and glazing classes, workshops, kids classes, private parties, firing services and a clay and tool store. Memberships come in several tiers, most with 24/7 access, and include Shimpo Whisper wheels, an extruder, slab roller and spray booth, 50+ glazes and slips, and free bisque firing. The California studios fire weekly to cone 5 and cone 10 in reduction and oxidation, with a firing tracking system.
