About the studio
Sunshine Darkroom is a community darkroom and photography gallery in downtown Safety Harbor, with classes taught by photographer Lance Rothstein. It runs a six-week Film & Darkroom Discovery class, one-day workshops (35mm film, pinhole, Polaroid, hybrid digital-to-silver-gelatin printing), and Friday Night Darkroom, a supervised open darkroom with drop-in sessions when space allows. Experienced printers who have not taken a class can take a two-hour induction course to use the open darkroom sessions and its enlargers.
