About the studio
Tao of Clay is a San Diego ceramics studio that blends ceramics teaching with mindfulness and what it calls Organicity, offering six-week throwing and handbuilding courses, guest artist workshops, private lessons and memberships. Members work independently during open hours with unlimited house clay (paid when fired), in-house glazes, 25 lb of firing a month, a storage cubby and ware board shelves. Membership is by application, with a waitlist.
