About the studio
The Textile Arts Center of Madison (TAC) is a 501(c)(3) hub for the fiber arts community offering classes and workshops, maker meetups, a mending lab, youth programs, an artist residency, exhibitions and secondhand supplies. All members get drop-in Open Studio access during designated hours, with floor looms, table looms, an industrial sewing machine, serger, sashiko sewing machine, dress forms, large work tables, cutting mats and ironing stations. Open Studio holds up to 12 people at a time and expects users to know the equipment already.
