About the studio
The Clay Commons is a ceramics studio in the historic Big 7 Building in downtown Hood River, with classes, workshops, private events and memberships for people with clay experience. The studio has 16 wheels, 2 standing wheels, 4 Skutt kilns, a slab roller, a wall-mounted extruder and cone 6 glazes. Members pay monthly on a 3-month minimum for 24/7 or daytime access, shelf space and firing services.
