About the studio
The Curious Forge is a 20,000-square-foot makerspace in Nevada City with 16 studios, including ceramics, woodshop, woodturning, textiles, blacksmithing, glassblowing and glass working, jewelry and casting, lapidary, machine and metal shops, electronics and a digital fab lab. Members use the equipment after qualification classes, and the public takes classes, workshops and group experiences. It also runs youth camps, member clubs and a workforce development program.
