About the studio
The Potters' Studio is a Berkeley nonprofit ceramics studio, operating for about 50 years, offering level 1 and 2 classes, visiting artist workshops and studio memberships. Members get 24/7 access to wheels, handbuilding tables, a damp room, a slab roller, spray booth and extruder, 20+ cone 10 glazes, a glaze mixing lab, more than a dozen high-fire clays and staff-fired bisque and high-fire kilns. Membership is by application on a sliding scale, and members can sell at the annual December Holiday Sale.
